Important Election Deadlines (2026)
Election Day: Tuesday, November 3, 2026
Voter Registration Deadline: 29 days before Election Day — meaning the deadline is Monday, October 5, 2026. Registration forms submitted by mail must be postmarked by that date.
Early In-Person Voting: October 6, 2026 through November 2, 2026 at 12:00pm at posted early voting locations, Your County Clerk's office, or satellite locations.
Absentee Ballot Request Deadline: October 22, 2026 at 11:59 PM local prevailing time — applications must be received by that deadline, not just postmarked.
Completed Absentee Ballot Return Deadline: Completed absentee ballots must be received by the county election board by 6:00 PM local time on Election Day, November 3rd.
New Voters: High school students who will turn 18 by November 3, 2026 may register to vote before the registration deadline even if they have not yet turned 18.
