This office belongs to Indiana — not a party.

Lauri Shillings for
Indiana Secretary of State

Hoosiers deserve a Secretary of State who serves the people—not political parties.

I’m running to restore trust in elections, protect Hoosier voters, and modernize the services Indiana businesses rely on every day.

Why Lauri Is Running

Lauri Shillings is the Libertarian nominee for Indiana Secretary of State. A Creative Director at the University of Indianapolis and small business owner since 2000, she brings more than twenty years of operational experience to a race defined by questions of accountability, voter privacy, and whether this office serves Hoosiers or political insiders.

Shillings chairs the Hamilton County Libertarian Party and serves as 5th District Representative to the Libertarian Party of Indiana State Central Committee. She holds a degree in Community and Nonprofit Leadership.

She is not running to build a political career. She is running to do this job — for every Hoosier, regardless of party.

Indiana doesn’t need a Secretary of State who treats the office as a political tool. We need someone who treats it as a public trust. She is running to bring steady, neutral leadership to this office. She will be focused on transparency, accountability, and making sure every Hoosier, regardless of party, can trust the systems that support our democracy and our economy.
