Lauri Shillings is a Libertarian candidate for Indiana Secretary of State and Chairwoman of the Hamilton County Libertarian Party. A Creative Director at the University of Indianapolis and a small business owner, Shillings brings a background in business management, transparency, and public accountability to a statewide office that oversees elections, business filings, and public records. She is running to restore trust in Indiana elections, protect voter privacy, and ensure the Secretary of State’s office serves Hoosiers rather than political interests.

Lauri Shillings is the Libertarian nominee for Indiana Secretary of State, running to restore trust and make government work for the people it serves.
She is also Chair of the Hamilton County Libertarian Party and serves as the 5th District Representative to the State Central Committee for the Libertarian Party of Indiana. As Creative Director at the University of Indianapolis and a small business owner, she brings more than 20 years of experience improving how organizations serve people.
She’s not running to climb a political ladder. She’s running to do the job.
Lauri believes the Secretary of State’s office should be efficient, transparent, and neutral. It oversees elections, supports businesses, and maintains critical public records. At its core, it should operate as a service to the public. Her campaign focuses on modernizing outdated systems, protecting the integrity of elections, and ensuring every Hoosier can access the services they need without frustration.
Shillings has been a consistent advocate for ethical leadership and civic engagement. She is not running to advance a political career, but to do the job well.
