Lauri Shillings is a Libertarian candidate for Indiana Secretary of State and Chairwoman of the Hamilton County Libertarian Party. A Creative Director at the University of Indianapolis and a small business owner, Shillings brings a background in business management, transparency, and public accountability to a statewide office that directly impacts elections, businesses, and civic trust.

Shillings entered the race amid growing concerns about election administration, voter confidence, and federal overreach into state-run processes. She has been outspoken about the need for ethical, nonpartisan leadership in the Secretary of State’s office, particularly following controversies surrounding the current officeholder, Diego Morales.

Her campaign focuses on restoring trust in Indiana elections, protecting voter data and taxpayer dollars, supporting small businesses navigating state bureaucracy, and ending the partisan misuse of the Secretary of State’s office.
