Lauri Shillings On the Issues

Indiana’s Secretary of State should serve the people—not political parties.

I believe government should be efficient, fair, and focused on serving the people who fund it. The Indiana Secretary of State's office oversees elections, registers businesses, and maintains public records for seven million Hoosiers. It should do all three things well — not as a political instrument, but as a public service.

Join the campaign. Support independent leadership for Indiana.

Three Core Priorities

  1. Protecting the Integrity and Privacy of Indiana Elections

  2. Serving Small Businesses and Entrepreneurs

  3. Educating and Empowering Indiana Voters

Why This Race Matters and Why I’m Running

This race will determine whether the Secretary of State’s office continues down its current path—or is reset with independent, accountable leadership. Ballot access, voter confidence, and trust in government are all on the line.

I am not running to build a political career. I am not running for the next thing. I am running because this office touches the daily life of every Hoosier who has ever voted, started a business, or needed a public record — and it deserves someone who will actually show up and do the job.

Take Action

If you believe this office should work for the people, now is the time to act.
